URBY Residential Tower (Towers I & II)

URBY Dallas is a modern luxury apartment, 27-story high rise, in the heart of the Dallas Design District. URBY comprises two towers and over 1,400+ apartment units with an extensive list of amenities. Baker Triangle Prefab was selected as the design-assist partner to provide design and fabrication services to realize a highly customized skin design. Ultimately, BakerTriangle Prefab fabricated 750+ panels clad with EIFS - StoPanel Classic NeXT. BakerTriangle held multiple façade coordination meetings, and a custom EIFS pattern was developed during an extensive mock-up exercise at the Baker Prefab Facility during preconstruction. Along with the Prefab Division, Baker Triangle Plastering Division field installed GFRC panels, EIFS & DAFS, Thin Brick, Natural Stone Panels, and Stucco façade systems in various tower locations. Overall, the large-scale EIFS Prefabricated process and Baker multi-scope approach helped the contractor achieve an 80% schedule reduction in exterior wall construction while achieving a seamless scope delineation utilizing one contractor.
